What is a Strangetown "Resident"?
We offer a very small and select group of photographers (or models, film-makers etc) - that we call "Residents" - an affordable and convenient alternative to hourly hires.
What are the benefits of being a Resident?
As a resident, you'll have your own key to the studio, access to the studio diary app for direct and instant booking, and use of the studio lighting, backgrounds and props. And you'll be part of a friendly little community of creatives.
What are the terms?
Sign up for a minimum of 2 months and then you stay as long as you like. We just require one full month's notice when you leave. You can opt for an "Any day" use (which obviously includes weekends) or "Weekday only" arrangement.
How often can I use the studio?
We closely monitor utilisation to ensure that everyone is getting a "fair go" and nobody is hogging the studio. This is a community so respect and consideration for the other users, the studio and the equipment is paramount. This is something we will discuss when we meet you as well as showing you the studio diary to give you an idea of current availability.

We're not the only studio in the Telsen building. You might like to try River Studio (huge studio on the 1st floor and owned by our good friend, top photographer Richard Battye) or SS Creative (also on the 1st floor, lovely studio and nice folks).
