In order to keep everything running smoothly and avoid any misunderstandings, we ask all hirers to please read the following...

• You are liable for any damages caused by your guests to any Strangetown Studio property or equipment including lights, backgrounds etc. The studio will be checked before you leave.

• Similarly, you are responsible for the health and safety of your guests and so please make all guests aware of trailing power cables, heaters etc.

• Apart from the studio and dressing room, you and your guests are welcome to also use the building's communal areas and toilets. However, there are over 90 other businesses in this building so we would request that you are respectful and considerate to everyone else, keeping noise and obstruction to a minimum.

• When you start: Your booked time-slot includes “getting ready” etc. Please do not expect access to the studio before your slot begins. ie. If your hire starts at 11am, you will not be allowed into the studio until 11am. 

• When you leave: An additional charge may be made if the studio is not cleared by the end of your rental period. If there is no-one booked into the studio after you, you may extend your slot @£15 an hour if practicable (please give us as much notice as possible). ie. If your hire ends at 2pm and you don't clear the room until 2:05pm, you will be asked for the additional £15 as the next hire client won't be happy about you using the time that they have paid for. 3 hours means 3 hours, not 3 hours and 10 minutes.

• Your booking is unconfirmed until payment is made.

• Please leave the studio as found, please.

• Advice and technical support during your rental period is available free of charge. We will change backgrounds for you as required – please DO NOT attempt to do this yourself.

• Children under 12 should be accompanied when not in the studio itself.

• Rates: £15 an hour at all times with a minimum hire period of 3 hours. There are no "day rates" or "half day rates" so don't ask. We don't haggle on rates either. It's £15/hr and that's it.

• Cancellation: You may still be charged if you cancel your booking within 48 hours of the start of your rental period.

• Strangetown Studio reserves the right to cancel or refuse hire agreements where it believes the studio is being used, or is intended to be used, for illegal or improper purposes.

• Strictly no smoking anywhere in the Telsen building.
